We believe design and production in this day and age needs to completely invert its orientation to the incredible gifts of the natural world. The universe was not built for our benefit, we were built for its benefit. The most beautiful, meaningful & powerful is that which is equally hidden and revealed in Nature/ natural systems/ natural materials- those which participate in the highest technology/ knowledge/ elegance/ beauty possible.
As we know, it’s never a “thing” which can be materially owned- It is an activity. To be connected, we must wholly release our conditioned blindness and respect the manifestations of greater things- listen, follow & take part- each in our own unique way.
Our work for the past 14 years has been particularly focused on the time honoured skills found in traditional English hand sewn saddlery. All items are either bespoke or constructed in very limited edition runs using only the finest local UK sourced hides and materials.
Unquiet Dream is based on the South West Coast of England.
